Can you believe we're already halfway through April? Time flies when you're surrounded by beauty—and right now, Winnsboro is bursting with it! We're officially in bloom mode.
The windows downtown are all dressed up with bright, creative displays (even though the Tournament of Windows has wrapped up), and most of the shops and restaurants are offering blooming specials for the rest of the month. So if you haven’t made your way downtown yet, now’s the time!
Last weekend marked the kickoff of farmers market season, and wow—what a turnout! The square was packed with happy shoppers and booths brimming with baked goods, handmade soaps, local spices, and early spring veggies. There were even rabbits, chickens, farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed beef, and homemade pasta. It’s a whole experience, and it’ll be happening every Saturday through the end of October!
This is the third year of BLOOM, and it just keeps growing! What started as a simple celebration has blossomed into a full month of supporting local businesses, sharing art, and welcoming visitors to our sweet little town.
This weekend, we've got not one but two egg hunts happening, along with historic tours that offer a glimpse into Winnsboro’s charming past.
Next weekend? Get ready. It’s a full schedule of fun:🌹 Live street music🌹 The beloved Parade of Roses🌹 And the can’t-miss Inflatable Street Race (seriously, if you haven't seen it—you have to)
Kehoe Designs will also be hosting a Vase Design Class for anyone looking to get creative with spring florals, and don't forget about Winnsboro Center for the Arts' magical Through the Looking Glass Gala! Come dressed as your favorite Alice in Wonderland character and join us for an evening of whimsical fun, great food, and a costume contest you won’t want to miss. Tickets are still available!
Winnsboro’s BLOOM just keeps getting bigger, better, and more beautiful. Come see what all the buzz is about—we’ll save a seat for you at Oaklea Mansion!
