This suite boasts a stunning Eastlake bed, renowned for its intricate carvings and exquisite craftsmanship, complemented by a matching bedroom set. As one of the largest rooms at Oaklea Mansion on the 2nd floor, the Eastlake Suite offers ample space for relaxation and comfort.

The room features a beautifully appointed sitting area, showcasing an Eastlake settee and chairs that invite you to unwind and immerse yourself in the mansion's historic ambiance. The en-suite bathroom is a true delight, featuring a turn-of-the-century clawfoot tub and shower, perfect for a luxurious soak after a day of exploration.

Formerly known as the Ima Hogg Suite, this room holds a special place in Oaklea Mansion's history. Ima Hogg, the beloved "First Lady of Texas" and daughter of Governor Jim Hogg, frequently stayed here when visiting the Carlock family. Later, as a guest of the Bed and Breakfast, her presence added a touch of distinction and grace to the mansion. Her visits are fondly remembered, and the suite continues to evoke the elegance and refinement that she personified.
